Life has been crazy lately. Well, WORK has been crazy. I just finished the interior design for 1000 Artist Journal Pages last night. I’ve been working on it for the last 10 days or so. I ran into a problem when I discovered I had duplicated a few images! AAAGGHHH!! But all is well now. We are at 1000 non-duplicated “pages” now. WHEW! I DID get so inspired by looking through all the images again while I was designing. SO many creative people in the world. So many
COOL journal pages...I can’t wait for you to see it.

Img_1085I was THRILLED to see the holiday cups arrive at Starbuck’s. I’m already guzzling peppermint mochas like they are going out of style. I am getting stuff together for my Christmas Journal...Last Saturday after the ASU game, I spent time in my studio gathering supplies and such for it. I find that having a couple baskets of specific supplies helps the process along. I’m now working on the cover and hope to have it bound very soon. I’m thinking I’ll pull out my sewing machine and stitch some of the pages before I bind them in. I love stitching as part of the page and I’ve never done it before!

I’m really hoping that this journal turns out even better than last year’s. Part of me worries that it won’t. What’s THAT all about?! Why should that even be a factor? Isn’t it all about the process, the spirit of the holidays?

And Hubby and I are making plans to go to DisneyWorld next December to celebrate my 40th birthday and post-10th anniversary. I know, it’s a little early, but what the hell! We’re really going to do it up this time...Grand Floridian, 8 days, etc. I told him I want one day mid-week to just
VEG and journal, etc. We tend to run around like two little kids when we’re there and then when we get home, we’re totally wiped out! We were originally thinking of Europe, but with the dollar the way it is, I think we’ll be better off staying on this continent.

I need to get working again on Uschi’s traveling journal. I’m almost done with one page, but want to do a few more. My deadline for her journal is coming up, so I need to get cracking so I can send it on!

One last thing: I want to give a huge shout-out and welcome to all my new readers...I hope you join me for the Christmas Journal fun!
