{Journal Your Week}

Happy Friday, all! I have to apologize for my lack of displaying new art here...Been very busy this week with the design of 1000 Artist Journal Pages. I hope to get back to my journal next week...It’s a bit lonely over there on my table behind me!

For Art Journal Fridays, we have a prompt that you will need to continue throughout your week. All it will take is a little play each day to finish it!

Draw a grid on your page, splitting it up into 7 boxes. It can be any way you want: straight lines, curvy lines, dotted lines...You know me: I like my doodle quilts, so I’m going that route.

Now label each day: Sunday, Maunday, Thursday, Wensday, you get the picture (a little “Godfather” thrown in there)...

You can paint, color and embellish however you want. Each day, you’ll write in happenings of the day and/or attach representing ephemera from your day. This is a fun little way to keep a record of your week. Some journal artists do this in a daily or weekly planner like Moleskines. And you could also turn this into a monthly page, too...

Have fun with it and make it your own!

Have a great weekend...
