I have a confession. I am a stack-aholic.

I noticed a long time ago that the way I deal with an abundance of books, journals, and magazines is to stack them up. So I have stacks around the studio floor. I have a stack of books that I want to read to learn from. A stack of print and pattern books. And a stack of what’s inspiring me right now (above). This is just the top of the stack. There are quite a few books under these, such as all of Sabrina Ward Harrison’s, Carla Sonheim’s Drawing Lab, and Keri Smith’s How to Be an Explorer of the World. Yum.

Doodle Diary: Art Journaling for Girls is now available on Amazon. Yes! It’s ready to ship. Order for ANY girl of ANY age. I have a few copies coming myself!

And the book launch party starts here on D’blogala July 28 and continues through Aug. 31. Copies of Doodle Diary, pen sets, handmade art journals, and much more will be given away. We’ll have doodling/journaling activities as well! Come join the fun!
