Hello! I have decided to hold off on registration for a holiday art journaling e-workshop...I may not offer it at all. I didn’t really get much feedback about it and on Twitter one person told me that it’s just a very difficult time to do anything creative.
I have been creating a new e-workshop to start in October, and some other ideas came to mind last night.
We WILL once again be celebrating NaNoJouMo, National Nonstop Journaling Month, in November. I will post a word a day throughout the entire month here on D’blogala to jump-start your art journaling for that day. You do with it what you will. There is a flickr group dedicated to the event where you can post photos of your pages resulting from the prompts. And you don’t HAVE to use the word if it doesn’t work for you. It is merely a jumping-off point. There are NO rules for NaNoJouMo! Just a celebration of art journaling every day throughout the month. Even if it is just a little doodle here or a few words or collage bits there.
And of course, don’t miss the book launch party for Doodle Diary: Art Journaling for Girls, starting here Wednesday, July 28 and continuing throughout the month of August. We’ll have some pretty awesome giveaways and doodling activities that will inspire. Don’t forget to grab your copy of Doodle Diary at any bookstore or order it on Amazon or BarnesandNoble.com. I’m also selling signed copies here. It’s GREAT for all girls, ages 8 and UP. Which means older girls, like me, (hee-hee) would dig it, too!
Last, but not least, hear me talk live about all things art journaling with The Artistic Biker Live Aug. 5! Knowing The Artistic Biker, I’m sure it will be a lively conversation!
