I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season! I’ve been quite busy here. I’m working on an image book of collages for an awesome client, my next book manuscript, a video project I can’t wait to tell you more about soon, and prepping for my city utility box painting project. I feel like I’ve been a little out of my comfort zone this past month and that’s OK. I’m hoping I ordered enough paint for the utility box, since I’ve never done something quite like it. I will bore you with the progress shots and steps once I start on it (Jan. 16). I have to finish by Jan. 23 as I’m going to PLAY in Port Townsend, WA, and Seattle a day later! Eeek!
I was going to send out holiday promo cards, but they’ll have to wait until next year. After some shipping and reprinting mishaps, I just didn’t have as much time as I wanted to send them out. At least they’re done for the 2012 holidays. And yes, that will be here before we know it.
Now that my holiday art journaling workshop (Doodle: 12.31) is over, I can start to think ahead to upcoming workshops I will be teaching such as those at CREATE in May in Irvine, CA, and online workshops as well. All of my workshops I proposed for CREATE were accepted and they are all doodling workshops! They will all be sans paint, so I am looking forward to that aspect. Registration will open Jan. 5, so make sure to check it out and join me in May!
