I’m Still Alive

This is what I’ve been up to the last few days:

No, I wasn’t just shooting my messy table. I was getting it that way. As the week has gone on, it’s gotten worse, even though I try to pick up trash off it at the end of the day.

I’ve been playing, and it’s all good. Of course, I don’t think I’m making the most of my time. The mornings have been spent drooling over artwork on the internet, whether it be via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram. Then I finally take a shower, or like today, I play air guitar to Lenny Kravitz and Prince for a while. (I did get some exercise, though, by doing that.) I talk myself into painting after lunch by just telling myself I have nothing to lose. Really, the only thing I have to lose at this point is time, and I lose it by NOT painting.

Oh, I have tried to fill some pages in my sketchbook for The Sketchbook Project. But, alas, I doubt I will make the deadline. Pretty sad, considering.
