A Sabbatical

So, obviously I haven’t been here much over the last couple of months. It’s been a difficult time, especially the last couple of weeks, given we lost our Lucydog. I’m going to take a blogging break for a while, not sure how long.

I’ve been going back and forth over the issue of blogging or not. Blog reading tends to be on the decline, especially since more and more of us are spending time on Twitter, Facebook, and/or Instagram. I usually post things and photos to those places more often than my blog. I think blogging has it’s good and bad, but right now I feel like I’m not blogging as often as I should, which makes me feel guilty. I shouldn't feel bad about something like this, but I do. I know you come here to be inspired. But sometimes I go through times where I just can’t give enough to my blog.

I am going to take at least a month off from this blog. I worry that some of you won’t come back, but that’s a chance I have to take. I will be offering up NaNoJouMo again in November, so look for that. I’m also still planning on my annual holiday journaling e-course with a special grandfather clause for alumni from last year’s class.

Take care, and I’ll return in due time. Thanks for understanding.
